The Black Tourism Services Association (BTSA) is an independent, non governmental organisation that seeks to amplify the collective voices of all previously disvantaged and financially challenged business and employees within the tourism industry throughout the Republic of South Africa.

Jerry Magale
Secretary General
Mr Magale worked as a tour guide and tourism manager within the Kruger National Park for 18 years leading tours for visitors from across the globe. Mr Magale holds a Diploma in Human Resources from the Tshwane University of Technology (2006), an Advanced Diploma in Business Management from the University of Johannesburg (2011), a B-Tech Diploma from Tshwane University and a Masters Degree from Leeds University, UK (2013). He is currently employed by UNISA as an E-Tutor.
Jerry is also an entrepreneur and the proprietor of Inn Africa Camp & Safaris, a tourism venture based on the outskirts of the Kruger National Park in South Africa’s Mpumalanga province. He is also the co-founder of the Black Tourism Services Association.
Mr. Lucky Lennox Khoza
President of BTSA
Mr. Lucky Lennox Khoza is the Chair person of BTSA.
Lucky is an entrepreneur and the founder and Managing Director of GNG Manufacturing and the Chairperson of Abundent Life Community Church.
Mr. Khoza hold the current qualifications:

- Intergarded Management System (DQS Training Academy)
- Occupational Health And Safety Management (Oxbridge Academy)
Futhi Ramoaraene
Director of Finance
Mrs Futhi Ramoaraene-Maseramula has worked in the banking sector for 12 years and left to realise her dream of establishing her own business, being an accommodation venture near the Kruger National Park, who commenced operations 3 years ago.
Lucky Tinyiko Mathebula
Deputy Director of Quality Assurance and Policy Standards
Mr Mathebula worked for South African National Parks (SANParks) from 2007 until 2013 as a tourist guide leading tourists on night tours and nature walks. He then left to pursue his dream of establishing his own tourism venture and work for himself.
Mr Mathebula holds a National Diploma in Tourism and is the founder of Mbazi Safaris, a tour operation based in South Africa’s Mpumalanga province, specialising in tours in and around the Kruger National Park and it’s surrounds.
Mokgadi Lillian Shikweni
Deputy Director of Administration and Human Resources
Mrs Mokgadi Shikweni has experience as a Safety, Health, and Environmental representative who’s duties included securing the safety of the workplace as well as employee training and foreseeing and mitigating against potential hazards in and around the workplace environment.
Mrs Mokgazi is currently in charge of the Accommodation portfolio for Kitso Trading, a business based in South Africa’s Mpumalanga province.
Pollen Ndlovu
Director of Quality Assurance and Policy Standards
For more than 17 years, Mr Pollen Ndlovu worked as a general manager at the Timbavati Nature Reserve as well as other private game reserves throughout South Africa. Pollen also ventured into the timer business where he rose to the position of Director at EP Invest (Pty) Ltd.
He is the founder and managing director of Makanyi Tours and Travel, a travel business based in South Africa’s Mpumalanga Province.
Pollen holds a Diploma in Business Management as well as Human Resource Management from BMT College. He has also completed a number of certificate level courses including in the field of Workplace Health and Safety among others.
Pollen feels that working in the travel and tourism sector is his calling hence his decision to venture out on his own into this exciting industry.
