Join the BTSA

BTSA was established in 2019 to promote the wellbeing of previously disadvantaged black owned businesses operating in the South African Tourism sector, with an aim to unite the sector, lobby government and negotiate collectively on their behalf.

Our members are drawn from a diverse sector of the South African tourism industry including open vehicle Safari operators in Limpopo, Gauteng and KZN. Membership is open to any corporate or individual operators within the inbound South African tourism industry promoting or active tourism in and around South Africa.

In addition to promoting travel and tourism into South Africa, another primary objective of the BTSA is effective communication, specifically to lobby large industry players and stakeholders to ensure the sustainable development of our industry. By working with operators, we also aim to co-ordinate and present a unified agenda when working in partnership with government to formulate policy that is favourable to our industry.

Membership is R 150.00 per annum.
